I’m Blair, the proud owner of Dutty's Children's Boutique and a mom on a mission to bring trendy, comfortable, and playful clothing to kids everywhere. I named my shop after my son, Dutton, as a tribute to the joy he brings into my life every day. I am proudly located in the heart of Eastern North Carolina, where community and family are at the core of everything we do.

Every item in my shop is thoughtfully handpicked with love, blending fun colors, modern designs, and everyday practicality. Whether your child is exploring the world or snuggling up for story time, I believe they deserve to look and feel their best every step of the way.

A Few Fun Facts

Growing Up

I grew up in sunny Tampa, Florida, where I spent my early years surrounded by beaches, warm weather, and the vibrant energy of the city. When I was 15, my family made the big move to Eastern North Carolina, where I quickly fell in love with the slower pace of life and the beauty of the coastal landscapes.

Education

I graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor's in Business Administration, where I also focused on studying marketing. My time at ECU gave me the skills and knowledge to understand the ins and outs of business, and it’s where my passion for connecting with people and building brands really grew. It’s this foundation that fuels my work today as I bring the vision for Dutty’s to life!

Sewing

Growing up, I was always surrounded by the comforting hum of a sewing machine as my mom worked on her own business. I would watch her stitch together beautiful pieces, learning the art of sewing by her side. Over the years, I started sewing alongside her, honing my skills and developing a love for creating with my own hands. Now, I'm proud to have my own hand-sewn collection, Dutty's Originals, which features highly absorbent, organic cotton bibs and burp cloths. Every piece is crafted with the same care and passion I learned from my mom.
